I ran a few laps here and there and did some dashes. I timed my mile and shaved off a minute since the last time I did it… so I finished the mile in 7:34. Goal is around 6 minutes : )

CrossFit was cancelled, so I focused on running today

So I rested the whole weekend and I also ate bad as well… but it was intentional :) because I just started training for MMA and I know that I will dedicate myself and work even harder!!

Total Reps: 307 <— yay!!! I beat my 225 reps that I had done during my first CF workout. Noticed that my legs are really strong, push-ups were fair, I need to make my core really strong : )
Then I went biking at the Lafayette Reservoir at 9:00 am..only did ~3 miles cause...

Excuses, Excuses...
So, it’s been a while since I worked out…
Friday morning, I was really sick…cold, fever, etc… wasn’t able to work out at all..Saturday, ditto; then Sunday and Monday were busy and eventful days…lost some sleep as well. Tuesday, I was recovering from the whole weekend.
Wednesday which is today… I felt a little too tired/ lethargic to work out. ...

Glutes/ Legs are sore…. I don’t think it’ll feel like normal again! I love it… I’ve also had a sore throat since Monday morning and it’s been getting worse. I hope it doesn’t turn into anything! I’m on a roll! oh well..

I attempted to go to CF class this morning at 5:30, but didn’t know it was cancelled.. I was craving CrossFit so I went to 24 hour fitness and did the following:
Time of Day: 6:00am
Warm-up: 5 minutes elliptical, stretch
WOD: Cindy
5 pull-ups (except I used the assisted pull-up machines @ 90lb resistance)
10 full push-ups (i used a hand position to target the triceps more)
15 air...

I had a FAT headache today. Way tooo hot and still only 4 hours of sleep. BUT during/ after my workout, I felt good!… and in comparison to yesterday’s “Filthy Fifty”, today’s workout was a breeze! haha

So, starting today.. I’m not able to do any type of run/ bounce/ jump/ jolt exercises for 3 weeks… booo!!! but gotta make the most out of every situation! my workout for today is:
12:00 pm elliptical at the gym for 1 hour
8:30 pm CrossFit
WOD:(Filthy Fifty - modified w/o any jumping)

I didn’t get to do the prescribed 10 lbs. during wall balls :( I used a 6 lb. medicine ball. Partly cause I felt my triceps were sore from my workout from two days ago and I was a little tired… I really have to adjust my sleeping habits. ...
